Bio
Bridget Coderc is a video artist and vocalist for the electronic band VIEUX. In her last year of studying photography, she developed a strong interest in video and performance, which she has explored ever since. Bridget is drawn to use outdated image-making technology to inspect her perception of the past and childhood memories. She is fascinated by the physical aspect of analogue video media and the visual distortions that it creates.
In Bridget's most recent work, she has used personal archives of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Last year she was working on a DYCP project during which expanded her practice with analogue video art techniques. Currently, she is working on VIEUX to perform distorted and abstract live video art paired with electronic dance music.
